The Leadership Council plays a crucial role in advocating for our organization, raising awareness, and driving fundraising efforts to empower young girls through physical activity, character development, and mentorship.  The council offers young professionals the opportunity to grow as leaders while making a meaningful impact on the lives of girls in their communities. By joining GOTR's Leadership Council you become part of a team that’s not only advancing the mission of Girls on the Run but also fostering a sense of community, leadership, and personal growth. Finally, you will meet a wonderful, passionate group of people and have FUN!

• Serve as an ambassador to our organization to increase public awareness, recruit new leadership
• Fundraise $500 annually through personal donations, securing corporate sponsorship, securing auction item(s) with an auction value of $500, or purchasing tickets to our fundraisers
• Attend 7 out of 12 meetings
• Volunteer at 1 GOTR 5K per year
• Assist planning at least 1 fundraising event
